Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Pharmacy is located in Richmond, Virginia and can be found within the VCU Medical Center, one of the top medical facilities and a hub of research in the country. VCU School of Pharmacy offers degrees that include a Masters of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a PhD. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and several dual degree opportunities to combine a Pharm.D. degree with another PhD. or Masters degree. The tuition to attend the school as part of the Pharm.D. program is $22,842.00 for in-state residents and $32,920.00 for out-of-state residents in the program. The School of Pharmacy features three departments that encompass the programs of the school – the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, the Department of Pharmaceutics and the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science to give students insight into all of the inner workings of the pharmacy practice.
