The Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy is part of Shenandoah University and is located in Winchester, Virginia. Founded in 1996, the goal of the school is to actively engage students in their education and provide a curriculum that is progressive and takes into account all of the technology and tools at the disposal of students today in to create healthcare professionals that adhere to the highest ethical standards while still being compassionate and focused on their patients and the community in which they serve. The school provides classes at both the Winchester campus and at the campus located in Ashburn, Virginia.
The Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University offers several degree programs for students. They offer a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and also offer a non-traditional Pharm.D. degree for those who want to perform their education primarily through online technology. They also offer a dual Pharm.D./MBA degree in conjunction with the university’s school of business. Tuition for the school for the Pharm.D. program is the same for both in-state and out-of-state residents. The cost of tuition is $30,362.00. Total cost for the non-traditional pathway to the Pharm.D. degree is $35,680.00. The program features courses in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, pharmacy practices and experiential education.
