Located in the traditional Brooklyn, the Long Island University is a private institution with almost 25,000 students. While it is private and established after World War I, it has quickly managed to become one of the front running schools.

The pharmacy school was initially known as the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. Today, it is known as the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy. It is one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the United States of America. Established in 1886. it was affiliated with the university in 1929.

Undergraduate and Bachelor’s degrees cost $974 per credit hour, as well as the doctorate of pharmacy degree. However, the costs for the doctorate change during the last two years and go up to $1,147.
