The Ohio Northern University is the only post secondary school established in Ada. It is the sister university of the Dankook University, which is located in South Korea. Over the past six years, the university was ranked the second among regional Midwest universities in the United States of America.
The university was founded in 1871. The private school of pharmacy was introduced in 1884. It is responsible for training more than 8,500 pharmacists over its history. Just like the entire university, the school is religiously affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
Tuition fees range around $425 per credit hour if you want to obtain the doctorate of pharmacy certification. The summer session costs are almost three times higher. Generally, the costs for the pharmacy school can go to $32,500. There are some additional fees to consider as well.
The university has an amazing reputation across the world due to the positive rankings obtained since 2008. With one professor for every 18 students, the professor-student ratio is not the most encouraging one though.
The doctorate of pharmacy is the main degree most aspirants hunt. However, those who settle for less are also allowed to run for M.S. or Ph.D. programs, depending on their needs and budget.
