The University of Kentucky is one of the most reputable schooling institutions in the United States of America. Located in Lexington, the university is responsible for around 30,000 students on a yearly basis. It is currently the largest research university in the country. The institution has been initially opened in 1865. It is by far one of the oldest schools in the area. It has managed to bring in a wide variety of faculties and specializations, not to mention about the urban campus spreading over 784 acres.

The tuition cost varies widely from one case to another. Kentucky residents have to pay two times less than non Kentucky residents. They are required to pay around $12,000 per term, while the non Kentucky residents are charged about $23,000 per term. The tuition fees depend on other associated costs too.

In many situations, the age is directly proportional with the reputation and the University of Kentucky makes no exception either. With so many students every year, there are no doubts that it is one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

The university has more or less advanced programs, depending on the student – prepharmacy, PharmD, MS and PhD programs, residency, continuing education solutions and ClickBlue for distance learning.
