The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences was named so in 1985 before which it was known as the School of Pharmacy. The College of Pharmacy has a very limited number of spots for enrollment and the admission process is therefore very selective. The college is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University is ranked 86th among all the colleges of Pharmacy in the country.
The study of Pharmacy is becoming famous among students as after the completion of course the chances of landing a good salaried job are very high. The tuition fee for the undergraduates in state and on campus is $19,544. For out of state students and on campus the fee is $31,486. The college aims at producing pharmacists who use their scientific knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving skills to find the solution for all types of health care problems.
