The South Carolina College of Pharmacy at the University of South Carolina, or the SCCP, USC campus as it is sometimes known, is one of the top pharmacy schools available in the country. The program has developed a solid reputation both in the  South and in the country as a quality school. There are over 400 students in the Pharm.D. program with more than another 400 enrolled in the pre-pharmacy program at the school. The school was founded in 1801 and is located in Columbia, South Carolina on the main campus of the University of South Carolina itself.

Programs are available at SCCP for a Pharm.D. or Doctor of Pharmacy and students may also pursue a Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry) and Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes Sciences, and a Masters Degree in Pharmacy. The tuition for the school for an in-state resident is $18,046.00 and for an out-of-state resident tuition is $29,127.00 when working towards a Pharm.D. degree.
