The College of Pharmacy was the first health science college at the University of Arizona, and now has more than 65 years of history. Today the college is one of the premier pharmacy schools in the nation. Dean J. Lyle Bootman tells you more about the college, which is primarily located in Tucson, with students completing their training throughout the state.  In the year 2008, The University of Arizona college of pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy ( Pham.D ) program was ranked 9th as per the US News and World Report.

It offers admission to its students at two different levels. The first one is its richly popular and widely revered Pharm.D program. The other one is as the graduation level for the graduate degree programs (MS and PhD). These courses are offered in pharmacology and toxicology.

Admissions in the college of Pharmacy of the University of Arizona are offered only in the fall semester and there is no provision of getting admitted in the spring semester in this university. Currently the college has 396 students enrolled in the Pharm.D course and 75 students who have been enrolled in the graduation course.
