Washington State University (WSU) College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is located on the WSU campus that is in Spokane, Washington. There are also classes for the program that are provided at the Yakima, Washington campus of Pacific Northwest University Health Sciences (PNWU), starting in the fall of 2015. WSU provides one of the top pharmacy programs in the country, having been ranked in the top forty of all pharmacy schools in the country. They take students who have a strong passion for science and want to help others and give back to the community to work in their program alongside elite faculty in state-of-the-art facilities, laboratories and classrooms to learn all of the skills needed to excel in the pharmacy field.
WSU College of Pharmacy provides degree programs involving a Masters of Science, a PhD. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. The cost of the Pharm.D. program is $20,512.00 for in-state residents and $37,166.00 for out of state residents. Masters and PhD. classes cost $1,174.00 per credit hour for in-state residents and $2,517.00 per credit hour for out-of-state residents. The program provides classes in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacotherapy and experiential education so that students can receive hands-on training at clinics, medical centers, institutions and pharmacy practices in the area.
