The University of Findlay is one of the few schooling institutions in Findlay and hosts the largest pharmacy school in the area. It is affiliated with a religious organization and trains around 3,700 students. It has a 73 acre wide campus and several off site facilities.
The university has come to life in 1882, but the school of pharmacy was introduced a lot later. Just like all the other schools composing the university, the pharmacy institution is private. Over the past few years, it has been constantly ranked among the best medical schools in the United States of America.
Whether students opt for less than 12 hours or more than 18 hours per course, the tuition fee is the same – $1,291 per credit hour. Overall, the pharmacy tuition fee floats around $19,000. There are a series of additional fees to be considered as well. All of them are subject to change.
The 1:10 professor-student ratio is one of the first reasons to choose this university. It is also fully accredited and has a high graduation rate, not to mention about the rate of employment.
The University of Findlay is one of the several pharmacy institutions that provide a direct entry program. Obtaining a doctorate of pharmacy (PharmD) takes six years.
