Spreading over a huge area in downtown Worcester, the MCPHS University consists of three main buildings that can accommodate around 130 students. Just like the branch from Boston, the Worcester school is privately owned and nonprofit. The university was established in 1823. In 2009, the branch from Worcester was enriched with a new academic center. The facility is now able to accommodate more than 1,000 students in all the programs. Most of them hunt the doctorate of pharmacy program.

The doctor of optometry program is the least expensive one, so the tuition cost is $36,450. On the other hand, students who opt for the doctorate of pharmacy will need to pay $44,280. The costs are identical for both the branch in Worcester and the one in Manchester. Additional fees will also be charged for enrollment, health insurances, graduation and others.

The MCPHS University (Worcester) is fully accredited. Aside from the branch in Worcester, the university has two other branches in Manchester and Boston. It is not just one of the most reputable institutions in Massachusetts, but also one of the best ranked pharmacy schools in the United States of America.

Students can opt for nursing, doctor of pharmacy, doctor of optometry and physician assistant programs. The doctor of optometry program is available for post baccalaureate students only.
