The University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy is located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school serves all three campuses of the University of North Texas System, with locations in Fort Worth, Denton and Dallas. The College of Pharmacy was founded just recently and began accepting its first class in 2013. It has received pre-candidate accreditation status and classes have begun in earnest. The view and aims of the college are to improve the healthcare system in both the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond through the education and training of students who are wholly interested in learning to serve the local community in a patient-centered manner when it comes to medicine therapies, services and practices.
The University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy offers a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program at its facilities. The tuition for this program is $19,501.35 per year for in-state students and $33,541.35 for out-of-state students. These costs include all tuition and fees for the first year. Programs include classes in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical practices and policy, pharmacy management, pharmacotherapy and experiential education to allow for experience at clinics, hospitals, pharmacy practices and other institutions that can provide students with hands-on training and work besides those already in the industry and practice.
